A Poem A Day 08

A week had passed
And I am proud that I had last
Achieve a week of poems straight
Though some are posted late

This challenge I placed
Was something that I had thought in haste
And the struggle to maintain had cause me to daze
It has been quite a feeling this past seven days

An outlet it proved to be
For the creative side of me
That had lain dormant
For quite a number of months
