Tasty Thoughts - Kenny Roger's Honey Roasted Chicken

I know that the advertisement and launched for this particular menu was put up ages ago, unfortunately, I only had the chance to try it recently. One way to describe the ad, it doesn't disappoint!

One thing i have to say, my hats off to the people behind foodstyling-manila.com for the ad work - the chicken looked yummy even before you got a taste of it.

Anyway, trying to eat more healthy these days, I simply adore Kenny Rogers Healthy Plates and I do tend to stick a lot to their High Fiber Plate. And with Fitness First membership card, I get to enjoy the meal at 15% off! Here's a shot of my High Fiber Plate with Honey Roast Chicken Thigh, Fruit and Vegetable Salad with Ceasar Dressing on the side and Griiled Corn on the Cob before I demolished it!

Kenny Rogers High Fiber Healthy Plate

Of all the Kenny Rogers I've eaten at, this is the first time I actually been served croutons on my salad! Yey for me as I do love those crunchy bread cubes. As always, I love my salad dressed in Ceasar and with the dressing on the side, I can definitely control how much of that tasty stuff I add to my otherwise healthy salad of lettuce, carrots, cucumber, tomato and pieces from Kenny Rogers Fruit Salad. Fresh fruits and vegetables equal healthy eating and so does corn on the cob. Corns are kinda like the best substitute for rice as it can fill you up with less carbs and more fiber than rice. Last, but definitely the best part of this plate, is Kenny Rogers Honey Roasted Chicken!

If you're familiar with their chicken, you know that it's very juicy and cooked just right. It's not overdone to lose the muscles/meat texture and elasticity and not underdone that you find blood bubbling out of it. The taste was definitely sweet and chicken at its best. Add to that the sauce accompanying this chicken and its literally like a piece of sweet chicken heaven as the full richness of honey mix in with the Kenny Rogers cured chicken.

This post may be late, but writing about it is getting me hungry. So maybe, its high time to go back to Kenny Rogers soon and enjoy another helping of this mouth-watering feast!
